I'm Jaymee, a UX designer passionate about creating beautiful functional user interfaces and meaningful experiences. I’m currently based in Seattle enjoying the rain with my cat, Koko.
I strongly believe in the importance of user-centered iterative design and believe that learning is a lifelong process. I recently got my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction at Indiana University.
In my free time I play table tennis, sketch, and work on self development.
Growing up, I always told everyone that I wanted to make art and help others. As I got older, I witnessed how much of an impact design has and how everyone has different ways they interact with design.
I learned web development, design, creativity, and attention to detail from my mother, who is a front end developer and fine artist. My father taught me the importance of helping others and being empathetic and observant, as a skilled project manager.
Once I discovered user experience as a field, I felt that it blended those skills perfectly. I'm grateful to everyone who has helped me grow and see new perspectives, and am always looking to learn how to better help others.
